This draft explains the personal information LotLoop expects to process. It must be completed with the final legal entity, retention schedule, suppliers and ICO details.
Information collected
- Business identity, company number and contact information.
- Account, authentication and security information.
- Equipment submissions, enquiries, wanted requests and transport details.
- Ownership, authority and verification evidence requested during manual review.
- Technical logs, fraud-prevention information and cookie choices.
Purposes
LotLoop uses information to operate accounts, review and publish listings, connect businesses, respond to requests, prevent abuse, keep audit records and comply with legal obligations.
Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary for a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with law or consent. The final notice must map each purpose to the correct UK GDPR basis.
Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers supporting hosting, authentication, storage, email, security and transport enquiries. Private seller or buyer contact details are not intentionally published in listing records.
Retention and rights
The final launch notice must state retention periods and explain applicable rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office.
